36 hours and counting
Friday, June 20, 2008 at 11:25PM
In the past 36 hours, I've eaten a lifetime's worth of amazingly good fried food at an 80 year old roadhouse diner, had my car die, had my car jumped (in the rain), had my car die in mid-drive, had to convince friend to turn around and come back, had to push my car backwards down 6th street, had to figure out what that keyslot next to my shift lever does, had to jump my car again, to no effect (again, in the rain), had to engage in AAA scambo, had my car die on me after parking back in front of my house, do 30 pages of work while staying up all night, had to go get a battery, learn how to remove a battery, learn how to install a battery, do both with only a pair of needlenose pliers from a computer repair toolkit, feed a cat, take a shower in someone else's house, sleep for only 4 hours, make an airport run, witness a car wreck and totally fail at falling back asleep. And it's early yet. 1am showing of Get Smart at the I-70. The perfect capper to a lost weekend of grease, hard labor and bad ideas as scored by the Electric Six's "Germans in Mexico."
(still working out the kinks here. It's fun! watch me grow!)
